About Us
How Exito Was Formed
Exito Energy Resources was formed as a privately held Namibian exploration company to advance high-potential onshore energy opportunities through disciplined technical work, responsible execution and strategic partnerships. Its core asset, PEL 105 in the Owambo Basin, provides the foundation for Exito’s current exploration platform.
Pre-licence formation period
Exito’s corporate platform was established to pursue onshore exploration opportunities in Namibia, with emphasis on technically grounded asset selection and long-term value creation.
3 October 2022
PEL 105 was issued over Blocks 1718 and 1818 in the onshore Owambo Basin, covering approximately 17,035 km².
November 2022
Pioneer Oil and Gas was positioned as technical adviser to Exito and Monitor, supporting the design and integration of remote sensing, gravity, magnetic, geochemical and passive seismic workstreams.
Initial Exploration Period
Exito began maintaining the licence and advancing the initial work programme, including prospectivity analysis using existing airborne magnetics/radiometrics, gravity, remote sensing, geochemical and seismic data.
June 2024
MEL Oil & Gas Exploration Ltd (Monitor) became a collaboration partner in relation to the Initial Exploration Period, bringing neighbouring licence exposure and regional knowledge.
Current phase
Exito is focused on integrated studies, high-grading of fairways, capital formation and potential farm-in or joint-venture discussions to support seismic and later drilling preparation.
